The fascination of weaving is that there are so many facets in technique and
choice of material. I like the challenge of the restriction of the loom in my
experiments with a warp and weft. It is exciting to work with unusual materials,
such as paper, copper- and silver wire, bamboo and so on, combining them to create
other forms of expression. Special paper is my favourite material
and I have been using this in all my fabrics for several years.
Until now I used all kinds of existing papers, but now I create my own,
so I have control of the entire process of my work.
I find my inspiration from my travels, especially from the culture in the East.
Further I get my inspiration from the involvement with issues that affect me emotionally
